You can find us at 29 Pollock Street, which is right in the middle of the Dalhousie area. It’s a very busy part of Kolkata, and being near the Tea Board means there is always a crowd outside. The street is narrow and packed with all sorts of shops and offices, so you really have to keep your eyes open to spot us. The college is housed in an old building that has seen a lot of history. Inside, the hallways are high and the rooms are quite large, though they can get a bit warm in the summer. We have students coming in from all over the city, so the place is usually buzzing from early morning until the afternoon. It’s not a quiet, secluded campus like you might see in movies. It’s right in the thick of the city’s noise. You can hear the horns honking and the shouting of vendors from the classrooms sometimes. We have a lot of books and old desks, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for what we need. The staff room is usually full of tea cups and stacks of exam papers. It’s a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it. People mostly know us because we’ve been on Pollock Street for such a long time. It’s just a regular part of the neighborhood for everyone who works in the offices around Dalhousie.
