Box Works

Box Works is located right off East Baroda Bridge Road in Naihati. It’s a spot that most locals know because the road gets pretty busy around North 24 Paraganas. We make boxes, mostly. It’s straightforward work but it keeps us on our toes. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we get the cutting and folding done. We’ve been here for a bit, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Some days are louder than others depending on which machines are running. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us here, making sure the orders are ready when people come to pick them up. The humidity in West Bengal can be a bit much in the rainy season, which makes handling paper and cardboard a little tricky, but we’ve figured out how to manage. We aren’t trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do right by the people who buy from us. If you’re driving down toward the bridge, you’ll see our entrance. It’s usually got a few stacks of materials sitting out front. We keep things simple and try not to overcomplicate the day. Most of the staff live nearby, so it’s a local crowd. Just honest work in a busy part of town and we appreciate the neighbors who stop by to say hello.
