We are located at 12A, Netaji Subhas Road, in one of those old buildings that makes you feel the history of the city. The ceilings are high and the walls are thick, which helps keep things a bit cooler in the summer. We do trading work here, so the office is always full of stacks of paper and old ledgers. We spend most of our time at our desks, either talking on the phone or typing away on our computers. It is a lot of coordinating and making sure that shipments are on time. The street outside is one of the busiest around, with yellow taxis honking all day long. We don't have any modern art on the walls or fancy furniture. Everything we have is just meant to be used for work. There is a small pantry where we make tea and sometimes share a meal if we are staying late. It is a small team of us and we have been working together for a long time. We know who is good at what and we just get on with it. We don't have a big social media presence. We just rely on the relationships we have built over the years. Sometimes the elevator stops working and we have to walk up the stairs, but that’s just life in an old building. We like the routine of coming here every day and seeing the same familiar faces in the hallway.
