Blue Star Auto Works

Blue Star Auto Works is tucked away at 1A Nazar Ali Lane in the Ballygunge area. It is a bit of a tight squeeze getting cars in and out of the lane sometimes, but we make it work. We have been working on cars here for a good number of years. It is a hands-on job and we usually end the day covered in oil and dirt. The shop is a bit old-fashioned, but we have the tools we need to get things fixed. We don't have a big fancy sign or a polished showroom. Most of our work comes from people who live around Ballygunge and have been coming to us forever. We see all kinds of cars, from old models that need a lot of love to newer ones with weird engine lights on. Sometimes we have to tell people their car needs a part that is hard to find, and that is never a fun conversation. We just try to be straight with everyone about what is going on under the hood. The lane can get busy, so we have to be careful how we park the vehicles we are currently working on. It is a small team here, and we all know each other’s habits. We open early because that is when people want to drop off their cars before heading to work. It is just honest mechanical work day in and day out at our little spot on Nazar Ali Lane.
