You can find Blue Dart Express Ltd over at 16/A Ritchie Road in the Ballygunge area of Kolkatta. It’s an older part of town with a lot of character. Our office is right there near the post office and police station, so it's a pretty central spot for us. We’ve been operating out of this building for a long time. It’s not one of those modern glass buildings you see in the new parts of the city. It has thick walls and a bit of that old Kolkatta feel. Inside, it is just a busy workspace. We handle a lot of shipments every day, and the pace can get pretty fast. Our staff is mostly local people who know the streets of Ballygunge like the back of their hands. We don't use a lot of big words or have fancy presentations. We just focus on the boxes and the addresses. Sometimes the monsoon rains make things difficult, but we just carry on with our work. The office is often full of the sound of people talking and printers going off. It’s a bit messy with all the logs and manifests, but we know where everything is. We take our lunch breaks together and talk about the local news. It’s a very grounded place to work. We are just a team trying to keep things moving through the city. We don't worry about being polished; we just worry about getting the deliveries done on time.
