Blue Dart Express Limited

This branch is located at 72/39 Dr. Nilomani Street, which is just off the main B.T. Road in Baranagar. It is a very active spot in North Kolkata. We have been here for a while and the office stays quite busy with people coming in to drop off their envelopes and packages. It is a functional setup with a long counter and several bins for sorting out the mail. The building is older, and you can hear the sound of the traffic from B.T. Road all day long. We have a small team here that handles the sorting and the data entry. It is a lot of repetitive work, scanning barcodes and making sure the addresses are correct. Sometimes the handwriting on the packages is hard to read, so we have to spend time figuring it out. The space is a bit tight, especially when the big delivery trucks come to pick everything up. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just some maps and the schedules we need to follow. It is a straightforward place where the main goal is just to process everything as it arrives. People from the local businesses around Baranagar know us well. We don't try to be anything other than a local shipping point. It gets a bit chaotic during the festival seasons when everyone is sending gifts, but we just keep working through the piles of boxes until the floor is clear.
