Blue Bird Intracityexpress is tucked away at 79/25 B. A.J.C Bose Road in Kolkata. This area is always moving, with trams and buses and yellow taxis everywhere. Our office is in one of those older buildings that has seen a lot of years. We focus on getting things moved within the city, which is harder than it sounds given the traffic. The rooms have high ceilings and those old-fashioned fans that wobble a bit. We keep our delivery bags piled up near the entrance so the riders can grab them and go. It’s a fast-paced environment, especially in the mornings when the orders start coming in thick and fast. We don't have a fancy website or a big marketing team. Most people know us because they see our delivery guys weaving through the traffic. The stairs up to the office are a bit steep, but they keep us fit. We have a small stove in the back to make ginger tea when it rains, which happens a lot here. Dealing with city deliveries means knowing every shortcut and alleyway in Kolkata. We spend a lot of time on the phone, giving directions or checking on a rider who got stuck in a jam. It’s a simple business at its core. We just try to get the parcel from point A to point B without too much trouble. It is a local life, and we are quite content with being part of the city's daily rush.
