Blr Logistics

Down at 267 Dakshinpara Road in Kolkata, things stay pretty busy for us. Blr Logistics has been operating from this spot for a while now. The road outside can be a real nightmare with the trucks and the rickshaws all trying to move at once. Our office is a simple room where we keep track of where all the goods are going. We have a few old fans that make a lot of noise but they keep us cool enough. Most of the day is spent on the phone talking to drivers who are stuck in traffic or looking for a specific warehouse. We don't have a fancy coffee machine or a break room. We just go to the local shop for a quick bite when we get the chance. There are stacks of folders everywhere and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint. We don't really care about how the office looks as long as the shipments are arriving on time. It takes a lot of patience to deal with the logistics in a city like this. We just keep our heads down and do the work without making a big deal out of it. Some days are longer than others especially when the monsoon makes the roads even worse. We just lock up when the last truck is accounted for and head home.
