Biraj Tazmeen Exim Private Limited is based at the Communication Centre at 37/1B, Hazra Road. This is a well-known part of South Kolkata, and it’s always bustling. Hazra Road is a major path for people going across the city, so there is never a dull moment. Our office is tucked into the Communication Centre. It’s a functional space where we handle the export and import side of the business. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just an office with desks, computers, and a lot of folders. Working here means you’re close to everything in South Kolkata. You can hear the trams and the buses passing by all day. We spend most of our time making sure all the shipping documents are correct and that everything is on schedule. It’s not always easy, especially when the monsoon hits and the streets get a bit flooded, but we manage. The 700029 area is a good spot to be because it feels very lived-in. There are shops and small eateries all around us. We’ve been doing this for a while and we don't feel the need to be all corporate and polished. We just do our work and try to stay organized in the middle of a very busy city. It is just a normal office doing its best every day.
