Our business, Binay Udyog (P) Ltd., is tucked away at 20-A on Sura 3rd Lane in Belighata. It is an old neighborhood with very narrow streets, so it is always a bit of a squeeze when we have to move materials in or out. We have been in this spot for many years. The building is a bit cramped because we have a lot of machinery packed into the space. It is not a modern office by any means. It’s a place where we do actual manufacturing work, so you will hear the hum of motors and the clatter of tools all day long. We have a small team of workers, many of whom have lived in Belighata their whole lives. We don't have a lot of formal meetings or corporate policies. We just know what needs to be done and we get on with it. The walls have seen better days, and there is always a layer of dust on the shelves, but that is just how it is here. We keep our records in some old folders and try to stay organized as best as we can. We aren't looking to be the biggest company out there. We just want to keep our workshop running and make sure the orders are handled properly. It’s a quiet life, mostly, just focusing on the daily tasks in our little corner of the city.
