Being on the 6th floor of the Jk Millennium Center at 46D, J.L. Nehru Road puts us right in the thick of things. Bhushan Power & Steel Ltd. has been operating from this office for a good bit, and the view of the street below is always a reminder of how fast the city moves. J.L. Nehru Road is one of those places that never really gets quiet. Inside our office, it is mostly the sound of phones ringing and people typing away. We deal with a lot of heavy industry stuff, mostly power and steel, but the office itself is just desks and stacks of paperwork. It’s not the most exciting place to look at, but we get the job done. Sometimes the elevators in the building take forever, and we end up chatting with people from the other floors while we wait. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We handle the logistical side of things, making sure the steel goes where it needs to go and the power projects stay on track. It involves a lot of coordination and long meetings that sometimes go late into the evening. We don’t use a lot of big words or fancy slogans. Most of us have been working in this sector for years, so we just know the routine. It’s a busy life here in the center of the city, and we’re just another office trying to keep the business running smoothly.
