Bhimsaria Electricals

Our place is on the 3rd floor of 55 Ezra Street, right near Poddar Court. Ezra Street is famous for being the heart of the electrical market in Kolkata, and it’s as busy as they say. Bhimsaria Electricals is just one of many businesses in this old building. We don’t have a fancy lift, so we do a lot of walking up and down the stairs every day. The office is usually full of boxes and the sound of people talking over each other. We’ve got a small team here, and we mostly focus on keeping the orders moving. It’s not a quiet place. You can hear the shouting from the street and the constant movement of goods being carried on people's backs. We don’t spend money on expensive furniture or decorations. We just have our desks, some old filing cabinets, and the stock we need. Being on the 3rd floor gives us a bit of a break from the direct chaos of the street level, but it’s still very much a part of the daily hustle. We start the day early to beat the worst of the traffic, though that rarely works in this city. Most of our time goes into checking specifications and making sure we haven't missed anything in the ledger. It’s a lot of manual work and paying attention to small details. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are.
