Dog Food Supplier

Our place, Dog Food Supplier, is over at 15 Lansdown Padkkukur in the Bhavanipur area of Kolkata. We are tucked away near Padkkukur, and if you aren't looking for us, you might miss the entrance. It is an old building with high ceilings and thick walls that keep it a little cooler during those humid Kolkata summers. Inside, we have bags and bags of different kinds of dog food stacked up on wooden pallets. The smell of kibble is pretty strong, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We spend a lot of the day taking orders over the phone and then hauling the heavy bags to the front for people to pick up. Sometimes local dogs wander near the door, probably hoping for a snack. We don't have a fancy storefront with posters or neon lights. It is just a basic warehouse setup where we keep the stock dry and safe from the rain. The street outside can be quite narrow, so when the delivery truck comes, it’s always a bit of a struggle to get it parked right. We have an old desk where we keep our receipts and a small radio that plays local stations while we work. It’s a simple, honest way to spend the day, making sure the pets in our neighborhood have what they need to eat, even when the humidity makes everything feel heavy. We close up when the light fades and the street gets quiet.
