We are situated at Plot Number 67 on Park Street, right across from the Post Office. Being in this part of Kolkata means it’s always crowded and there’s always something going on outside our doors. It’s a historic part of the city, and our office has that old-school feel to it. We handle international trade and various business dealings from this location. The building is older, with high ceilings and those big windows that let in the city noise. We’ve got desks piled with paperwork and phones that don't seem to stop ringing some days. It’s not a shiny new office block, but it works for us. We like being near the Post Office because it makes some of our mailings easier. Parking is a nightmare around here, so most of us take the metro or a bus. We aren't the type of company that uses a lot of corporate jargon. We just talk to our clients and get the shipping and orders sorted. It’s a busy, somewhat messy office, but we know where every file is. There are plenty of good places to eat on Park Street, which is a nice perk. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long time and don't see ourselves moving anywhere else soon. Even when the monsoon rains flood the streets a bit, we still make it in to get the business done. It’s just the way things go in this part of town.
