Bengal Interior

Bengal Interior is our small business located at 22 Chinmoy Chatterjee Road. We’ve been doing carpentry and interior work from this address for quite some time now. Our workshop is usually full of the sound of saws and the smell of fresh wood. It’s not a polished showroom where everything is perfect; it’s a place where work actually gets done. We spend our mornings planning out layouts and our afternoons actually building things. Sometimes we get sawdust all over our clothes and that’s just part of the job. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a fancy office. Most of our clients are just people from the neighborhood or friends of friends who saw a cabinet we made. We try to be practical about how we use space, especially since houses these days are getting smaller. Chinmoy Chatterjee Road is a decent place to be based, and we know most of the people around here. We don't use high-pressure sales tactics. If you need a bookshelf or a kitchen redone, we just sit down with a pencil and paper and draw it out. There’s a lot of satisfaction in seeing a piece of raw wood turn into something useful. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the city. We just want to do a decent job so we can keep the lights on and keep working with our hands. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
