Our place is over at 67/1A R K Chatterjee Road, right near the Kasba Bakultala area. It’s close enough to the E M Bypass that getting here isn't too bad, though the local roads can get pretty narrow and crowded during the rush hour. We work with wood all day, so there's always that strong smell of timber and polish in the air. It’s a bit of a cramped space because we have piles of raw wood and half-finished cabinets everywhere you look. We aren't the type of company that spends a lot of money on fancy decor for our own office. We’d much rather spend that time working on the wood for our customers. The staff here has been together for a long time and we all know our roles without having to talk about it too much. We don't use big corporate words or try to sound like we're from a big city firm. We’re just woodworkers at heart. Some mornings we start very early when the air is still cool, and we keep going until the light starts to fade in the evening. R K Chatterjee Road is a busy spot and we’ve seen a lot of changes around Kasba Bakultala over the years. We remember when there were fewer buildings and more open space. Now it’s all built up with shops and houses. We just keep doing what we know how to do. It’s messy work and we often have sawdust on our clothes, but that’s just part of the job.
