Baynee Industries

Our office is inside the Chatterjee International Building on the 5th floor. Being located at 33-A Chowringhee Road means being right in the middle of everything. Elevators are usually slow in the morning, so some of us just take the stairs for a bit of a workout. Baynee Industries started out as a very small operation years ago. Now we have a bit more space, but it’s still just a regular office with desks and computers. We work on industrial projects and manufacturing stuff. There is a lot of noise from the street downstairs, but up here on the fifth floor, it stays mostly quiet. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just some calendars and project charts. It’s a busy place. A lot of time is spent looking at blueprints or talking to suppliers on the phone. Sometimes the air conditioning acts up, and we just open the windows and deal with the heat for the afternoon. We’ve been in this building for quite some time now. You get to know the security guards and the people in the other offices. It feels like a little community of its own. Our focus is just on getting our orders out on time. There isn't much more to it besides that. We come in early, do the work, and head home when the sun goes down. Most days it’s just a lot of coordinating and making sure parts arrive when they should.
