Battey & Kemp

Battey & Kemp is located at 60/2, Lenin Sarani. It’s an old building on an even older street. The walls are thick, and the ceilings are high, which is nice when it’s hot outside. We’ve been here for a very long time, and honestly, the place hasn't changed much since the early days. We have old wooden desks and cabinets that have seen better decades. We do our business in a way that feels right for the neighborhood. Lenin Sarani is always full of people, trams, and cars honking, but once you step inside our doors, it’s a bit quieter. We aren't into modern management styles or corporate jargon. We just do our work, talk to our customers, and keep track of things in our ledgers. It’s a bit old-fashioned, maybe, but it works for us. We don't have a marketing department or anyone trying to sell a vision. We just provide what people need and try to be fair about it. The floorboards creak when you walk on them, and sometimes the lights flicker, but we like the character of the place. It feels like home to us. Most of the people who work here have known each other for a long time. We aren't looking to expand into some giant corporation. We’re happy right here on Lenin Sarani, doing things the way we’ve always done them for as long as we can.
