Giant Builders

Giant Builders is tucked away at No. 15 S. N. Mukherjee Lane, near the Mistryghat area and the Boys Club. It is a bit of a walk from the main road, but it is a quiet spot once you get there. We spend most of our time out on sites, but this is where we come back to handle all the planning and the paperwork. The office is basically a room filled with blueprints, tools, and some dusty boots in the corner. It isn't a place for showing off; it is just where we organize the crews and figure out the materials we need. We have a big table in the middle where we spread out the drawings and try to make sense of everything. Sometimes the plans change at the last minute and we have to scramble to get things right. It can be stressful when the weather doesn't cooperate or when materials don't show up on time. We talk to a lot of different contractors and laborers throughout the day. Usually, there is a lot of shouting and laughing going on because we have worked together for a long time. We aren't big on fancy meetings or long reports. We just talk about what needs doing and then go out and do it. By the end of the day, we are usually pretty tired and ready to head home. It is a simple way of working, but it’s what we know best.
