Balaram Saha And Sons Pvt Ltd has been around for quite a while. We are located at 14/6 on the 1st Floor of the building on Gariahat Road. This part of Ballygunge is always full of life and shoppers. Our office and showroom are together on the first floor. We deal with traditional textiles, and you can see stacks of them everywhere you look. It’s a family business, so the atmosphere is quite relaxed. We don't have corporate rules or uniforms. We just wear what is comfortable and get to work. People come to us because they know we have been on Gariahat Road for a long time. They trust that we know our fabrics. We spend a lot of time showing different pieces to customers. Sometimes they stay for an hour just looking at things. We don't mind at all. We have tea and talk about all sorts of things while they decide. The building itself is old, and the stairs can be a bit tricky if you are carrying heavy bags. We try to keep things simple here. We don't do much marketing or have a big online presence. Most of our customers are regulars who have been coming to us for years. It’s a nice way to run a business. We just keep doing what we know best in our little corner of Ballygunge.
