Balaji International Co.

Our place, Balaji International Co., is located at 62/1, A, N. S. Road. It’s an old building in a part of town that has seen a lot of history. The walls are thick and it stays relatively cool even when it's hot out. We do international trade, so there’s always a lot of talk about shipping routes and customs. It’s a lot of paperwork, honestly. We have stacks of files on the shelves that go back years. The street outside is always noisy with traffic and vendors, but once you come inside, it’s mostly just the sound of typing and the occasional phone ringing. We don’t have a flashy entrance. It’s just a door with our name on it. We've been here long enough that the postman knows us by name. It’s a small operation. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to polish up our image. We just handle the imports and exports as they come. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to wait to send emails, but that’s just how it is. We focus on being practical and getting the shipments moved. It’s a basic business run by people who have been doing this for a long time. We take our tea breaks together and discuss the day's tasks. It's a steady life and we are happy with how things are going on N. S. Road.
