98 Linton Street is an old building with a lot of character. Bakshbros International has the ground floor space. It is mostly me and my two brothers working here. We have our desks pushed up against the walls to make more room for the files and the samples. The international part of the name makes us sound a lot bigger than we actually are. We mostly just talk to people overseas using the computer or the phone. It is funny how you can be sitting on Linton Street and talking to someone in a completely different time zone. We drink a lot of coffee to stay awake when the timing is off for those calls. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint soon. We have maps pinned up everywhere, and some of them are getting really old and yellow. My father started this business and we just kept it going because it’s what we know. We do not have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just try to get the shipping containers where they need to go on time. Sometimes there is a delay at the port, and then the phones start ringing like crazy. Those are the stressful days. But mostly it is just quiet work. We know the postman by his first name. He has been on this route forever. We don't have a fancy lobby for people. We just work.
