Bajaj Brothers

You can find Bajaj Brothers at 83 Shakespeare Sarani. It’s an old part of the city, and our building has a lot of character, which is just a nice way of saying it’s old. We’ve been here for a long time, dealing with trading and various business supplies. The office has those high ceilings that stay cool in the summer but make it hard to change a lightbulb. We have a few old wooden desks that have been passed down through the family. There are piles of paper everywhere because we still like to keep physical copies of everything. Shakespeare Sarani is always busy, so there’s a constant hum of traffic outside our windows. We’ve gotten used to it over the years. We are a small team, mostly family and a couple of people who have been with us so long they might as well be. We don’t do things in a very corporate way. If someone needs something, they just shout across the room. We take our tea breaks seriously and usually sit together to talk about things that aren't work. Our customers are mostly people we’ve known for years. They know they can just walk in and we’ll have a seat for them. We don't have a big fancy website or a logo on every wall. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the bills are sent out on time. It’s a quiet, busy life at number 83.
