Krishna Manufacturing

Krishna Manufacturing is tucked away at No. 54/1 K. B. M. Road in the Champdani Bashbagan area. We’re out here in Baidyabati, Hooghly, which is a bit of a distance from the city center. The workshop is where we spend all our time. It’s a noisy place with machines running, but that's how we like it. We have been working from this K. B. M. Road spot for a long time. There's a lot of dust and the smell of materials, which is just part of the job. We don't have a fancy office or a showroom. If you want to see what we do, you just come to the floor where the work happens. The neighborhood is mostly other small workshops and houses. We know most of the people who live around Bashbagan. It’s a tight-knit place. Sometimes deliveries get delayed because the roads here are a bit narrow, but we manage. We aren't interested in being a huge factory. We just like making things. Usually, there are about four or five of us here at any given time. We take our breaks together and talk about whatever is happening in the news. It’s not a high-tech setup, just some old tools and people who know how to use them. We just keep at it every day. That is the way Krishna Manufacturing has always operated. We don't have a website or anything like that because we are usually too busy with the orders we already have.
