You can find Baid Power Services over at 152, Block B in Lake Town. We are on the ground floor, which is a blessing because the equipment we handle is incredibly heavy. Dealing with power services means we have big batteries and heavy metal cases all over the place. The floor is concrete and has some oil stains, but that’s just how it is when you’re working with machinery. People in Lake Town know us as the guys who fix the power issues. We aren’t some big fancy firm with a lobby. Our 'lobby' is just a couple of plastic chairs near the door. We spend a lot of time out on the field or in the back testing circuits. The ground floor stays relatively cool, which is nice during the summer months. We have a small team, and we’ve all been together for a few years. We know which machines are cranky and which ones work fine. Sometimes we stay late when a big job comes in. We don't really mind. It’s just part of the routine. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. It’s a lot of manual labor, checking wires, and making sure connections are solid. We just try to keep things running for our clients without making a big fuss about it. There is always a pile of paperwork on the desk that needs sorting too, which usually happens on Saturday mornings.
