East Work

East Work is located over in the Atghara area, specifically near the Nayi Masjid in Baguiati. If you know the Rajarhat Gopalpur side of things, you know it gets pretty crowded and loud out there. We have been operating from this spot for some time. It is a bit of a maze to get here if you aren't from the neighborhood, but once you find the masjid, we are right there. The building is just a standard one, nothing that stands out from the street. Inside, it’s mostly just us working on whatever projects came in that week. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. Usually, there are a few of us drinking chai and looking at papers or screens. It is a simple operation. We like being in this part of town because everything is close by, even if the traffic is a nightmare most afternoons. We keep the doors open and just get on with it. Some people ask why we stayed here instead of moving to a shiny new office, but this place works for us. It has everything we need to do the job. We don’t really bother with decorations or fancy signs. As long as the work gets finished, we are happy enough. It is just a group of people doing a job in a busy part of Baguiati. We have been at it for years and plan to stay.
