Our shop is located at 43/2 Chandi Ghosh Road, not far from the Wireless Head Quarter in Regent Park. It’s a bit of a dusty place because we’re always working with wood and making furniture. You can usually hear the sound of saws or hammers if you walk by our doors during the day. It’s definitely not a fancy showroom where everything is perfect and shiny. We keep our tools scattered around and there’s sawdust on the floor most days, no matter how much we sweep. We started out small and we’re still pretty much that same local team. The neighbors probably know us mostly for the noise we make. We spend a lot of time measuring things and cutting pieces of wood to size for whatever project is next. Sometimes we run out of room because we have too many half-finished chairs or tables taking up space. It’s a local spot and we like it that way. We don't have a big corporate office or a polished receptionist to greet people. Usually, you’ll just find one of us with a pencil behind our ear and some glue on our hands. The traffic on Chandi Ghosh Road can be a bit of a headache in the evenings, but it’s a good location for us to get work done. We just keep our heads down and get the furniture built. It’s hard work and our hands are usually tired by the end of the day. We’ve been in Regent Park for a good bit now.
