We run things out of 8C/1K Roy Para Road here in Kolkata. The zip code is 700050. It’s a bit of a tucked-away spot, not right on the main highway, which is fine for us. We spend our days looking at property papers and talking to people about houses or land. It is a small office setup. Usually, there are a couple of us sitting around the main table with folders piled up. The fans stay on because it gets humid in this part of town. We don't have a big fancy lobby with a fountain or anything like that. It’s just a place to do business. We’ve known the neighbors for a long time. People drop by to ask about prices or just to see what’s available in the area. We try to keep our records straight. The building itself is older, and the stairs are a bit narrow. Most of the time, we are either on the phone or out visiting sites to see how the buildings are coming along. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the city. We just like to know our stuff and get the paperwork signed without too many headaches. Sometimes the internet goes slow, and we just wait it out while having some tea. It is a regular job for us. We keep a stack of maps in the corner and a few old chairs for anyone who stops in for a chat.
