Aventurine Exim Services Llp is located in a flat on the third floor at 42/1A Motilal Basak Lane. This part of Kolkata is usually quite busy, and our office is just a simple place where we get our work done. We deal with import and export services, which mostly means we spend our days looking at shipping documents and talking to customs agents. It’s not the most exciting job in the world, but it’s what we know. The office is 3D, and sometimes the lift doesn’t work perfectly, so we end up taking the stairs. We have a few desks and a lot of folders piled up. The lane outside can be a bit narrow, so getting here in the morning is sometimes a struggle with the local traffic. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who have been doing this for a while now. We don’t use any fancy software or big corporate systems, just the basic tools to keep track of where things are. There’s always a bit of dust in the air from the street, and the noise of the city is always there in the background. We just try to stay on top of the paperwork so that things don’t get stuck at the port. It’s a lot of small tasks that add up. We aren’t trying to change the world; we just want to make sure the goods move from one place to another without too much of a headache for anyone involved.
