Auddya Tutorials is located at 13, Ramaprasad Roy Lane, right in the Amherst Street area of Kolkata. If you know where the Chalta Bagan Shiv Mandir is, then we are very easy to find. The temple is a big landmark here, especially during the festivals when the whole street gets crowded and colorful. Our coaching center is in an older building that has a lot of character. We have a few rooms dedicated to teaching, filled with benches that have seen many students over the years. The atmosphere is quite relaxed but we do take the studying part seriously. Usually, the first batch arrives in the late afternoon. You can hear the bells from the temple sometimes while the classes are going on. It’s a very local vibe. Most of the families living around Amherst Street know us by name. We don't spend money on big posters or radio ads. We just open the doors every day and get to work with the kids. The rooms are cooled by ceiling fans which hum throughout the day. We have a small space to keep bags and books near the entrance. It’s a bit cramped when everyone shows up at once, but we manage to find a seat for everyone. We stay open until the sun goes down and the street lights come on. It’s just a regular part of life for us here in this part of North Kolkata.
