Associated Equipment

Our office is right in the heart of the city at 33/1, Netaji Subhash Road. We are on the ground floor of Marshall House, which is one of those old buildings that has seen a lot of history. Being in room 88 on the ground floor is actually pretty convenient because we don't have to deal with the slow elevators when we have heavy equipment parts to move. The street outside is always chaotic with taxis, vendors, and people rushing to the nearby banks and offices. Inside Marshall House, it’s a bit cooler but still very busy. We deal with various types of equipment, and our space is often crammed with crates and spare parts that we are waiting to ship out. The walls are lined with old shelves that are sagging a bit under the weight of catalogs and technical manuals from the last twenty years. We have a couple of desks shoved into the corners where we take phone calls and write out invoices by hand sometimes. It’s a very traditional way of doing business, but it works for us and our regulars. The light inside isn't great, so we have some extra lamps around the workspace. We don't have a big lobby or a receptionist; you just walk in and one of us will look up from whatever we are fixing or counting. It’s a noisy, dusty, and very busy way to spend the day in Kolkata.
