You can find us, Ashvi Comtrade Llp, on the second floor of the Hindustan Building. That’s at 4 C.R. Avenue. It’s a pretty well-known building in this part of town. Being on the second floor is handy because the stairs aren't too bad if the lift is acting up. We work in comtrade, which is basically just a fancy word for trading commodities. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just an office where we sit and talk to people on the phone. The sounds of C.R. Avenue always filter in through the windows. It’s a lot of honking and people shouting, but you stop hearing it after a while. We’ve been here long enough that the walls could probably tell a few stories. We aren't a huge team. Usually, it's just three or four of us making sure the numbers add up. We drink a lot of tea while we work. It helps with the long afternoons. We don't have a mission statement or a bunch of goals written on the walls. We just come in and do what needs to be done for the day. Sometimes things are slow, and other times it’s a mad rush to get everything finished before the sun goes down. We just take it as it comes. It's a decent place to work, and we know our way around the neighborhood. We keep an extra fan by the window for the really hot days.
