Asahi India Glass Ltd.

In Kolkata, we are set up in the Golf Green area, specifically inside the ONGC Building. You can find us through Mr. Vikas Shounak’s office at 2/23 Block-A. It’s a bit of a different setup being inside a larger building complex like this. It’s quieter than being right on a main commercial street, which is nice for getting work done. We focus on the West Bengal side of things for Asahi India Glass Ltd. There is a lot of history in this city, and you see it in the types of buildings we provide glass for. Some are brand new, while others are very old and need specific sizes to fit the old frames. We spend a lot of time on the phone and coordinating with the transport guys to make sure the glass survives the trip across the city. The traffic in Kolkata is something else, so we have to plan everything way in advance. We have our small corner here and we keep things organized as best as we can. It’s a lot of tracking orders and making sure the customers get exactly what they asked for. We don't do much in the way of promotion. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they’ve used Asahi glass before. It’s just a regular office doing regular work for the local community.
