Arvind Traders

Arvind Traders is tucked away at 39, Madan Mohan Burman Street. If you know the area, you know it’s a tight fit with all the vendors and pedestrians. Our place isn’t anything fancy. It’s just an old building with a heavy door and a lot of history. We’ve been trading here for decades. The shelves are packed with all sorts of things, and sometimes it takes me a minute to find exactly what a customer is looking for. We aren't really into those modern office setups where everything is hidden away. Everything we have is right there in the open. My father used to run things here, and not much has changed since I took over. We still use a lot of the same old ledger books, though we have a computer now too. The street outside is loud from morning until night. You hear the tea sellers and the rickshaws constantly. It’s a lot of energy. We just do our business, chat with the regulars, and try to get through the daily tasks. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big marketing talk. We just sell what people need at a fair price and call it a day. It’s a small, local operation. We like it that way because we know our customers by name. That’s more important to us than being some huge company.
