You can find us over at Poddar Point on Park Street. We are in Block B on the 7th floor, room 113. It’s a big building, so it takes a minute to get through the lobby and up the elevators. Our office is pretty standard for a chemical company. There are lots of folders with data sheets and shipping manifests piled up. Since we deal with inorganic chemicals, there’s always some technical talk going on. The view from the 7th floor is mostly other buildings and a bit of the street below. It’s quieter up here than it is down on Park Street, which is nice when we need to focus on the numbers. We’ve been in this space for a good while. The carpet is a bit worn in the high-traffic areas and the coffee machine is temperamental. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a sleek lobby. It’s just where the administrative side of the business happens. Most of our day is spent coordinating with the plants or talking to suppliers. Sometimes the air conditioning is too cold, and other times it barely works. We just get on with it. It’s a professional enough spot, but it feels lived in. We keep things simple and try to stay on top of the paperwork that keeps the business running. Arvind Inorganics is basically just desks and people and plenty of work.
