Arihant R.K. is located on the first floor at 1/1A Biplabi Anukul Chandra Street. It’s an old building and the stairs are a bit steep, so you have to be careful coming up. We’ve got a small office here where we handle all the paperwork and phone calls. The street outside is usually full of people and small shops selling all kinds of things. Inside, we have a few desks pushed together and shelves full of files that have been there for years. We usually start the day by opening the windows to let some air in, though it doesn't help much with the noise from the traffic down below. The lights flicker occasionally, but we’re used to it. Most of the work involves keeping track of orders and making sure the accounts are in order. We don't have a big reception area or anything fancy like that. If you come by, you’ll probably find one of us buried under a pile of invoices or talking loudly on the phone to a supplier. We usually have tea brought in from the corner shop twice a day, which is the highlight of the afternoon. It’s a busy little spot, and there’s always something that needs fixing or filing. We just try to get through the list of things to do before the sun goes down and we can head home. It is a humble place, but it keeps us busy and we know everyone.
