Archana Multipurpose

Archana Multipurpose is our little shop at 91A, Raja S C Mullick Road in Naktala. We are very close to the Padmasree Cinema Hall, which is how most people find us. If you know where the cinema is, you can’t miss our entrance. We call it "multipurpose" because we really do carry a bit of everything on our shelves. It is one of those shops where you might find what you need even if you aren’t sure what that is yet. The space is usually pretty packed. We don’t have a lot of extra room, so things get stacked up high against the walls. It is just how we’ve always done it here in Naktala. The noise from the main road is always there, but we are used to it by now. We have seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but our shop stays mostly the same. Customers come in for small things, household items, or just to see what’s in stock this week. We don’t use any complicated computer systems. It is just us behind the counter. Sometimes we might take a minute to find something in the back, but we usually get there in the end. It is a local business, plain and simple. We like being near the cinema because there are always people walking by. It makes the day go faster. If you’re ever in Naktala on Raja S C Mullick Road, you’ll see our sign.
