A.R. & Sons

A.R. & Sons has been operating out of the second floor at 18, R.N. Mukherjee Road for many years. It started small and just stayed that way, which is fine by us. The building is one of those old ones with high ceilings and heavy doors. When you walk in, you can tell it’s been a place of business for a long time. There are cabinets full of old files and desks that have been scratched up from years of use. We aren't big on modern office furniture or fancy gadgets. We have what we need to get the work done. The team is mostly family and a few people who have been with us so long they might as well be. R.N. Mukherjee Road is always full of cars and people rushing to offices, but up here on the second floor, it feels a bit more removed. We spend our mornings going through the mail and checking on the projects we have running. There is no dress code here; we just wear what is comfortable for a long day of work. Sometimes the elevator doesn't work, so we end up taking the stairs quite a bit. It’s a steady pace of life. We don’t try to impress anyone with a polished look. We just answer the phone, handle the accounts, and make sure the day ends with everything in its right place. It’s just a regular family business doing its thing.
