Anjy Properties Llp is over at 18 Rabindra Sarani. Our office is in Room No. 403, and you have to come through Gate No. 1. It’s an old building that has been around for a long time. Being on the 4th floor means we have a bit of a view of the street below, which is always full of people. We handle real estate work from this small office. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze with all the filing cabinets and desks we have squeezed in. We don't have any expensive furniture or fancy lighting. It’s just a place to work. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or sitting at our computers. Sometimes the elevator is out of order, so we have to walk up all those stairs. It keeps us fit, at least. We’ve been in this building for quite some time and know the security guards and the other office workers well. Rabindra Sarani is a famous part of Kolkata, and it’s very lively. We have a small fan that hums in the corner and a kettle for making tea during our breaks. We aren't a big firm, just a few of us trying to do a good job. We don't use a lot of business talk. We just tell people how it is and get the paperwork finished. It’s a simple, straightforward operation.
