Up here on the 14th floor of Suite 14-B on Camac Street, things stay pretty busy. You can look out the window and see the traffic crawling down below, which makes you glad you’re inside with the AC, even if it rattles a bit sometimes. Animark Enterprises has been operating out of this space for a good bit of time. The office is a bit cramped because we have files stacked up in corners that we really should get around to organizing better. It’s mostly the sound of keyboards clicking and the occasional phone ringing that cuts through the quiet. We aren't a huge team, just a handful of people who’ve worked together long enough to know how everyone takes their coffee. Sometimes the elevator in the building takes forever, so we end up chatting in the hallway with the neighbors. We handle a lot of paperwork and digital stuff, keeping track of everything coming in and out. It’s not the most exciting work to talk about at a dinner party, but it keeps the lights on and we like the routine of it. We usually order lunch from the same place down the street because they know our names. By the time evening comes, the sun hits the glass of the buildings across from us and it gets a bit bright, but then it’s time to pack up. It’s just how it goes here every day.
