Our place, Alufoil Produts Private Pvt. Ltd., is located at 4, Clive Row. We are in room 208 of the Mukti Chambers here in Kolkata. If you’ve been to Clive Row, you know it’s a crowded and busy part of the city. There’s always something going on outside our windows, mostly people shouting and horns honking. We work with aluminum foil products. It’s shiny stuff, but the work itself is pretty standard and repetitive. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking the ledger to see what's what. Mukti Chambers is an older building, and it has that specific Kolkata feel to it that you either love or hate. We’ve got stacks of paper and samples of foil around the office. It’s not the most modern setup, but it’s where we’ve been for years, and it works for us. We know the tea stalls nearby and the guys who deliver the mail. Sometimes the lift in the building is a bit moody or broken, so we end up taking the stairs. We aren't a huge corporation with a lot of rules or a dress code. We just come in, do our jobs, and try to keep the customers happy with what we send them in the mail. It’s a simple life in a big city. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long time and we don’t plan on going anywhere else soon. Just a small business doing its thing.
