Aloma Impex Private Limited

We’re located at 5/A Anukul Mukherjee Road, which is in a pretty traditional part of Kolkata. Aloma Impex Private Limited is a small company, and we’ve been operating out of this same building for quite a while. The street is narrow, so parking is always a bit of a nightmare, but we make do. Inside, it’s mostly just us at our desks, surrounded by boxes and stacks of folders. We do import and export work, which sounds more glamorous than it actually is. Most of the time it’s just making phone calls, checking on containers, and making sure the customs forms are filled out correctly. We don't have a fancy website or a bunch of slogans. We just try to get the work done without too much fuss. People in the neighborhood know us, and we usually stop for a quick chat when we’re out getting lunch or picking up supplies. The office has an old ceiling fan that makes a bit of noise, but it keeps us cool enough. We don’t really care about big corporate hierarchies. Everyone here just chips in where they are needed. It’s a bit messy and crowded sometimes, but that’s how we like it. We just focus on keeping the shipments moving and making sure our clients know what’s going on with their goods. It's a simple life and we just take each day as it comes.
