Alam Tannery Pvt. Ltd. is located at 187, Park Street. This is an old part of the city, and our building definitely shows its age, but it’s sturdy and serves its purpose well. When you walk inside, the first thing you notice is the smell of the leather and the sound of the workers. We’ve been here for generations, and many of the people on the floor have been with us since they were young men. It’s a very traditional workspace, not the kind of place you’d find a lot of computers or modern gadgets. We have heavy workbenches and tools that have been used for years. Park Street is always busy, and there’s a constant flow of people and cars outside our door. Sometimes it can be quite a task just to get a truck parked for loading. We don't have a marketing department or a fancy website. Most of our business comes from people who have known us for decades. We focus on the physical work, checking the hides and making sure everything is handled correctly. The office is just a small room in the front with an old wooden desk and a lot of files piled up. We aren't interested in making things look more polished than they really are. It’s hard, physical work, and we take pride in just showing up and doing it every day.
