Al-Mr Agro Industries Private Limited

We are based in a village called Six Mile, which is near Karjana Chati in the Bhatar area of Burdwan. Our office is at Sk Mojibar Rahaman’s house. It is a very rural spot surrounded by miles of rice fields. We call ourselves an agro industry, but it is really just a group of us trying to handle the business side of farming. Burdwan is a big place for agriculture, and we are right in the middle of all that green space. Our office is just a plain room where we sit and talk to the local growers. We do not have any polished floors or air conditioning. Most of the time, there is some dirt on the floor and the windows are left open to catch a breeze. We deal with the harvests and try to figure out where to sell everything. It is a lot of talking and a lot of waiting for things to happen. We do not have a fancy mission or a polished way of speaking. We are just people from the village who know how hard it is to make a living from the land. Sometimes the power goes out for hours and we just have to wait it out. It is a slow way of life, but it suits us. Everyone around Six Mile knows Mojibar and they know where to find us if they need anything. It is just our daily work.
