Aisha Comtrade Llp is located in the Hindustan Building, right on the second floor. The address is 4 C.R. Avenue, which is a very central part of Kolkata. If you’ve ever walked down Chittaranjan Avenue, you know how loud and busy it is. There are always buses and yellow taxis zooming past. Our office is right in the middle of all that noise. It’s an old building with a lot of character, the kind with high ceilings and thick walls. We’ve been here for a bit, and it suits us. We don't have a modern, glass-and-steel office. It’s more traditional, with wooden furniture and stacks of files on the desks. We work in the trading sector, which keeps us pretty occupied. There’s a lot of back-and-forth communication with different partners. We have a small crew of people who have been working together for quite a while. We aren't the type to use big words or fancy business jargon. We just talk like normal people and try to solve problems as they pop up. Lunchtime is usually spent sharing food we brought from home. Sometimes the street noise gets a bit much, but you get used to it after a while. We focus on the work at hand and don't worry too much about looking like a big corporation. We’re just a local trading firm trying to do things the right way in the heart of the city.
