We’ve been at the Chartered Bank Building on N. S. Road for quite a while now. Our office is on the first floor at number four. Dealing with exports isn’t always the easiest job, but we manage to get things done every day. People come by the office and we sit down to talk about shipments and orders. It’s usually pretty busy around here with people moving in and out. We handle all the paperwork and the logistics stuff that comes with sending goods out. It’s a lot of back and forth with different shipping lines and customs. The building itself has that old Kolkata feel to it, which we like. Sometimes the stairs are a bit much when you’re in a hurry, but it’s just part of working here. We started out small and have just kept going through the years. It is mostly about getting things from one place to another without too many headaches. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking files. It gets quite noisy outside with all the traffic on N. S. Road, but you eventually get used to the sound of the city. We aren’t a big, fancy operation with lots of layers. We are just a team trying to get the job done right. If you’re looking for us, just head to the first floor. We usually have some tea around four in the afternoon. It is a straightforward setup.
