Agrahari Institute

Agrahari Institute is located in Krishna Tower, which is on B T Road in Cossipore. We are at number 15, and if you know the area, we’re quite close to Pikepara More. Kolkata is always a bit crowded, and B T Road is no exception. Our space in the tower is where we spend all our hours. It’s a standard office building, and we’ve been here long enough that the elevator guy knows us by name. We teach here, mostly just regular classes for local students. The rooms have that old-school feel with wooden desks and big windows. Sometimes the horns from the street are a bit loud, but it’s part of being in Kolkata. We don’t have a fancy lounge or anything like that. There’s a small area where students can wait, and that’s about it. We keep things honest and simple. Our day starts early before the heat gets too bad. We find that being near Pikepara More makes it easy for people to reach us by bus. We aren't some giant corporation; we’re just a small institute trying to do a good job. The walls are covered with some old charts and a clock that’s five minutes fast. We never got around to fixing it, so we just live with it. It’s a comfortable, hardworking environment where we focus on the books and nothing else. That is how we run things every single day.
