Agarwal Shraff & Co is our firm and we are based in Kolkata. The office is at 29A, Marry Apartments, specifically in Flat No 202 on Southend Park, Sarat Bose Road. It is a nice area of the city, fairly quiet compared to some other parts. Even though we are here in Kolkata, we also handle a lot of work for people in Patna too. It means we are sometimes traveling or handling things over the phone for clients over there. We’ve been operating out of this apartment for a while now. It’s a professional space but it feels more like a home office than a big corporate building. We deal with a lot of paperwork and financial details every day. It can be quite dry work sometimes, just looking at numbers and documents for hours. We have a small desk for everyone and files stacked up in the corners. People come by to drop off their papers or sit down for a meeting in the afternoon. We try to keep things simple and clear for everyone who walks through the door. It’s just a few of us working here, making sure the records are straight. The Sarat Bose Road area is easy for our clients to get to, which is good. We don't have any big signs outside, just the name on the door. It’s a steady business and we like the people we work with. That is basically us.
