Our branch is over in New Alipur, specifically on Tollygunge Circular Road. The address is 23A/661A, Block O. It’s a busy spot in Kolkata, and there’s always something happening right outside our door. We spend our days surrounded by cardboard boxes, packing tape, and bubble wrap. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and moving things around. The office itself is mostly used for storing packing materials and keeping our schedules straight. It’s not a place where you’d find a lot of decorations. We’ve got some old chairs and a desk that’s been with us since we started. Most of our work happens out at people's houses or in the back of our trucks, so the office is just a home base for us. The Kolkata humidity can be tough, so we’re usually pretty tired by the end of the shift. We’ve been doing this for long enough that we have a system for everything, even if the office looks a bit chaotic to someone else. There are always rolls of tape lying around and stacks of empty boxes waiting to be used. We don’t have a fancy website or anything like that; we just rely on being here in the neighborhood. It’s a hard job, but it’s what we know how to do. We just keep our heads down and handle the moves as they come.
