Down in Lake Town, Block A, you’ll find us at Afl Logistics Pvt Ltd. We’ve been at 167 for a good while now. It’s a busy neighborhood in Kolkata, and our office is right in the thick of it. We handle a lot of logistics work, which mostly means we are on the phone or the computer all day trying to figure out where trucks are. It’s a lot of coordination and sometimes a bit of stress when things don't go as planned. The office is pretty simple, with enough room for our desks and a small area for visitors. We don’t really do the whole corporate image thing. We are just a group of people who know how to move stuff from one place to another. Sometimes the local traffic makes it hard to get in and out, but that’s just life in Kol-89. We have a small kitchen where we make tea and talk about the day’s problems. It’s a tight-knit group here. We don’t make big promises or use fancy language. We just do the work and try to keep our clients happy without making things too complicated. Every day is a bit different, but the goal is always just to get the job done right. We deal with all the paperwork so the people sending the goods don't have to worry about it.
